Importance of Flexibility Training for continued performance

I am so honored to be sought out by The Southeastern Virginia Entrepreneurs Organization.  I am so excited to speak of my passion of fitness and wellness and the incredible importance and often overlooked modality of training which should be one of our most important parts of our wellness journey, and that is FLEXIBILITY CONDITIONING.

Here are some snippets of the communication I received from a representative of the Southeastern Virginia Entrepreneurs Organization.

Hello Kirsten, I have been following you for a couple of years… starting at Inlet South…. and more recently via social media. I keep getting re injured and drop off and on with my membership to the gym.  I am actually contacting you to see if you would be open to being a guest speaker for an hour or two at a meeting that I lead here in Virginia Beach. I am the moderator for the Spousal Forum of the Southeastern Virginia Entrepreneurs Organization.  Lately, the topic of sports injuries and lack of flexibility have been keeping many of us from meeting our personal fitness goals.   … I’d be looking at any time you might have within that window for about one hour or longer if you desire. We are a group of  business/spouse and non-profit owners  between the ages of 34 and 55… all very healthy.. a few have hired personal trainers or gotten food counseling (Jim White) through the years… many of us very into clean eating/juicing, vegan/vegetarianism….. I think we could definitely be a connection that could further promote and utilize your business talent. I, for one, have been putting off calling you for lack of taking care of myself… and I have your video on my dresser…. which is a crime…. even though I’m pretty sure it would absolutely unlock my stuck point.  I’m pretty sure I am rambling………………  I know the notice is short, but really can’t stop thinking how perfect it would be to start off our year. And selfishly, I’ve been dying to officially meet you. I’ve cried through a couple of your Friday flexibility classes a few years ago… but wasn’t brave enough to seek you out for something more one on one. I’d love to know your thoughts on meeting our group…. sharing your mission/vision/passion while celebrating you/your story as a strong business owner doing something you love.

Southeastern Virginia Entrepreneurs Organization…..needless to say, I’m all in.  I can not wait to speak at your forum this upcoming February, 2016 and share my passion for fitness.

Whether an athlete or an everyday warrior, the benefits of FLEXIBILITY TRAINING should not be overlooked.
