Make yourself a priority! Your #1 priority.

The other day I was administering “health and wellness” screenings for my client.  Sum of skinfolds, body weight analysis, lean weight to fat weight ratios and all the data required to navigate and plot  a successful road map for success in the quest for ongoing results and progress in their wellness plan.

Blood Pressure was one of the first tasks completed.  My eyes widened, brow lifted, and I looked my client in the eye, and said “how are you feeling, are you feeling alright”?.  My client calmly informed me that she was having some neck pain and some tightness and tingling down her arm.

I calmly asked when her last physical was, and she had to think.

They were on the threshold of “having a bad day”!.

When was your last physical?  In the spirit of THANKSGIVING, give yourself the gift of TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR HEALTH.  Be your own advocate.  If you don’t do for yourself, who will?

Here is my plan.

OB GYN AND PHYSICAL in my birthday month.

Breast Exam in the month of Valentines.

Skin Check every 6 months, one before summer and one after.  Stay on top of this one!  It will save your life.

Colonoscopy, pick a month, any month.

Boys……go ahead, don’t be scared, and while you are thinking about that end, do the front end too! :0

You take the time to go to Starbucks, to watch your favorite TV shows…………….this trumps.  With a capital T.  Make time for you, so you have time.
